Sometimes, by this point in the year, spring has clearly sprung here in Atlanta. This year, things aren't so clear. One day it's 65 degrees, the next it's 35. Since cold weather seems to be reluctant to leave, I'm trying to get one more winter project finished before turning my attention to swishy skirts and tank tops.
The name of this pattern is Chuck, but I'm not calling mine Chuck because I actually knit Anthony a sweater several years ago that I named Chuck. Confused yet? EXACTLY.
Anyway, this pattern immediately went into my queue when I saw it on Lauren a while back, and I fell even more in love with it when I discovered Kristin's longer version. Curvy fit! Cabley goodness! Top-down, seamless construction! This sweater had to be mine.
It's been a while since I've knit anything this cabley. I've definitely had to pay closer attention to what I'm doing. Having said that, it's actually going pretty fast. It's on a US 9 needle, which feels HUGE to me, and the whole back is plain stockinette, so that part of the round flies.
At press time, all I have left is one sleeve and the neckband. I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get at least one more cold day in time for me to wear it!

keep that beauty away from your kitty!
