Occasionally I do pause from making fabulous garments for moi, and create something for one of my loved ones. Over the years, Adverb has amassed quite a collection of wacky shirts I've made for him. This weekend I finished the latest one, and here it is in action!
In that crock pot is some super-yummy chili Adverb whipped up on this rainy Sunday. Ground turkey, red onion, kidney beans, hot peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, lots of delicious spices, all topped with green onions and cilantro. Mmmm...so good! And what could go better with the beer shirt?
Pattern: McCall's 4399, View E (now out of print)
Fabric: "Mug Shots" cotton print by Michael Miller
We had hoped to find pretzel-shaped buttons for this shirt, but had no luck. Ultimately, Adverb was pleased with what he calls these "pilsner-colored" buttons. But if any of you ever come across pretzel buttons, please let me know. :)
