Tacos y calimuchos con las chicas

Another fun thing about summer?  Hanging with your gal pals in the air conditioning, eating spicy food, drinking refreshing cocktails, and gabbing for hours.  Witness:

Taco Night with Melissa, Christy and Natalia.

I presume you've all seen tacos before, so I did not take any artistic photos of those.  But perhaps you are less familiar with our drink of the night--calimuchos!

Natalia mixed up a batch of this delicious concoction for us.  Half Coke (or Diet Coke in this case), half red wine.  Over ice.  With a wedge of lemon or lime.

I know.  It sounds gross.  I was skeptical (of course didn't stop me from diving right in), but I gotta tell you...these things are yummy.  Apparently they are the drink of choice in Spain during the running of the bulls (although they don't drink them chilled over there).  This icy version is perfect for summer.
